What to expect at your next visit
As directed by the College of Optometrists of Ontario and the Ontario Association of Optometrists we are implementing a multitude of safety protocols to protect our staff, our patients, and our community from the spread of COVID-19.
All visits are by appointment only
In an effort to practice social distancing and to allot additional time for sanitization we will be limiting the number of patients within our office at a time. All visits, whether for pickups, adjustments, or health care services must be booked through our staff via email at info@envisioneye.ca or by phone at (905) 465-3937. Walk-in visits are strictly discouraged. Please notify our staff at the time of booking if you will be bringing an additional person to your appointment for translation or support.
Additional disinfection practices are in place
Our staff will be disinfecting all surfaces and frames prior to patient use. When you are finished trying on glasses, we kindly ask that they are left in their designated area to be sanitized before being placed back on display. Please refrain from unnecessary touching of surfaces to assist in the sanitization process. Patients will be required to sanitize/wash their hands upon arrival.
Health screening is required by patients
A health screening must be done prior to any appointments. Our staff will ask questions directly related to COVID-19 and take a non-invasive temperature reading of anyone entering the premises. Refusal to participate will result in appointment rescheduling. If you are ill: please stay at home, contact Telehealth at (866) 797-0000, Halton Public Health at (905) 825- 6000 or your doctor.
Wearing masks is mandatory
COVID-19 is primarily spread through coughs, sneezes, saliva or discharge from the nose. To reduce the exposure of spread, all staff and patients are required to wear a face mask. If you do not have access to a facemask, you can purchase one from our staff at the time of your visit. Refusal to participate will result in appointment rescheduling.
Email communications
To ensure efficiency and reduce the amount of unnecessary touching of items (paper, pen, clipboards, etc), we will attempt to send all forms and registrations via email for patients to fill out prior to their appointment. When applicable, prescriptions and receipts will be emailed as well.
The safety of our patients is our utmost priority; we look forward to seeing you!
