The new Oakville Trafalgar Hospital was an over a one-billion-dollar project that was completed in in time for 2016 to serve people in Oakville and the surrounding areas via a variety of primary, secondary, and tertiary services.
The roughly 1.5-million-square-foot, modern facility was built on a 50-acre piece of land and has room for 457 beds and multiple departments (including mental health, cardiac rehabilitation, renal dialysis, geriatrics, surgery, continuing and acute inpatient care, diabetes education, plus many others). The hospital is three times larger than the hospital it replaces and will offer expanded services.
You’ll find this new hospital at 3001 Hospital Gate (Dundas Street and Third Line). There is lots of parking available, with options to purchase passes for use by the day, week, or month. If you have to come to the hospital for dialysis or cancer treatments, there are designated places for you to park, in addition to the regular lots for everyone else. When winter hits, you can mostly avoid the cold by using the sheltered walkways to get from the parking garage to the hospital building. Additionally, the local public transit bus route has added several stops at the hospital.

Envision Eye Care is a state of the art, full-service vision clinic in a modern building (Palermo Professional Centre) that includes leading specialty practices such as Reflections Dental, and all the other healthcare practitioners your family will need if you’re in the Oakville or Burlington area.
